Miami gets a ghost-town look ahead of Hurricane Irma’s arrival

Normally crowded parts of the Miami area were virtually vacant as many residents left town and others hunkered down in homes and other shelters as Hurricane Irma approached Florida. Here are some of the unusual sites around town:
